Nice links but nothing about our national forests?!?!? That’s okay ’cause it means we’ll continue to enjoy their wonders without hoards of people. Just don’t tell anyone, unless you go to a “High Impact Recreation Area” (HIRA), you probably won’t have to pay an entry fee, like most national parks, and *yes* you can hike with your children and dogs.

Thanks so much for covering Beautiful Places. I have shows from Tahoe (Mt. Tallac), Death Valley, Zion, Zion Narrows, The Everglades, Sequoia NP, and The White Mountains in the works right now. I’m heading to the White Mountains next weekend to film Methuselah Grove in the snow.
