Like always, entering the contest couldn’t be easier and there are no hidden agendas, other than building-up my newsletter subscriber-base which helps me get these great giveaways for you, my loyal readers. The complete terms and conditions are here, but basically you have to be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the 50 United States. I apologize to my Canadian readers, but your laws frown on contests that don’t involve some kind of skill. To enter, simply sign up for my monthly newsletter on the right hand side of this page and click the “Send Me the Free eBook” button. You will be sent an automated email that requires you to click a link to confirm your request – so be sure to check your SPAM folder if you don’t see it right away. Those of you who are currently receiving the newsletter are already entered in the contest. A winner will be selected on Friday, December 11.

I publish the newsletter once a month and it contains several articles that either don’t appear on the CampingBlogger blog, or expand on one of the blog articles with additional information. It’s important to note that this is not and never will be a SPAM piece and your information will never be given or sold to another party (see my privacy policy). Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments about the contest or the newsletter and good luck!

  1. I’ve been ‘lurking’ for awhile (really enjoy your blog) and this chance was enough to win me over! This camera has received some great reviews in several of the photography magazines I subscribe to and would make a great companion to my full size Pentax K10-D DSLR. Way easier to hike with, and still take great shots of the outdoors! Thanks for the chance, and I hope to post here more often now that I’ve taken the plunge!

    • Thanks, Marc – I really wavered between the Lumix and the Olympus Stylus 8000, but from the reviews I read, the Lumix looks like it has better picture quality. Good luck!

    • Sharon – I’m getting one of these ‘pocket’ cameras, next time. My Canon PowerShot is just a bit too big to fit in a pocket, so I don’t always have it with me and I miss a lot of good picture-taking opportunities.
